This site is designed to offer hope and encouragement to others facing seemingly overwhelming obstacles and allow family, friends, and supporters of Matt to keep up with his treatment and recovery efforts. Matt suffers from a level T8 Spinal Cord Injury which he sustained in an ATV accident in 2006.

Facing unimaginable obstacles, former MHS athlete Matt Courson serves as a personal inspiration. Though the game of life has dealt him tremendous obstacles, Matt was and still is determined that he will “Make a Difference”. His strategy is simply “Finish the Race.” I challenge you Class of 2007 - no matter what your game is -
